Tonight i noticed the connection getting increasingly slower and attempted to reset the box by unplugging the power. When plugging it back in it, i can see the wifi in my networks, but the connection is slow to almost nonexistant.
So it isn't a speed issue. It's YouTube in particular and videos taking 5-10 seconds to buffer before playing, only on Cox's network.
