There is no filter specific for synthetic oil. There are, however, filters with better filtering media vs. paper found in most filters. Mobil 1 M1-110 is one of them. Bosch 3323 is another. Both filters are made by Champion Labs and have the new media. Both are fine for the 1300. Bosch is about $6...M1 is around $11.
Jan 21, 2023 · Recommend adding – Archoil AR9100 at every oil change. Remove gas tank and air filter housing, then, replace or at least clean the carburetor screen/filter – Honda #16176-ME3-A80. The screen is located in the back of your carb where main fuel line comes into the carb. Make sure you have removed both drain plugs and replaced your oil filter. Then replace with 4 quarts of oil. Bardahl and Amsoil make synthetic fork oil. I think you would be fine with the Honda fork oil or any other name brand. Meaning that once warmed up, and at moderate hi-way speed, all the oil that enters the filter flows through the filter media. The by-pass valve allows oil to pass unfiltered whenever entry pressure is higher than what the valve is built for.

The only problem I found was in the southern Calif. winters the engine would have a hard time coming up to operating temp. Ran about 190/200 and on 10/40 it runs 210/ 220*.
