I went with the 30 because the extra weight in the slide makes the recoil more managable and followup shots quicker. It is my understanding that the Gen 4 models without any backstrap installed has the same reach as the SF frames. I like the 30s and find it to be a great carry gun.I decided to change it up and start carrying my 30SF. Wow, the difference is like night and day.
