This issue also shows up on all of the Hyundai forums because this engine is a Hyundai design/build. My 2.0 will exhibit rough idling about 7 - 10 times a month. Mine has been doing this since I drove it off the lot. Loose or Disconnected Hoses. Loose or disconnected hoses can also be a common cause of many types of engine vibration. A loose or disconnected air hose or vacuum hose can cause quite a bit of violent shaking and vibration in your 2014 Kia Soul 's engine. I sometimes find in hot weather to idle the car for air conditioning which is obviously not good to do but circumstances call for it. When I got the car in service the coolant was low so I had it drain and fill at a local repair place.

Rough Idle Help. I have a 2005 Sedona and when I put it into gear, it shakes pretty bad. While in park or neutral the idle speed has been just a tad below 1000rpm's and in gear it drops down to about 500-600rpms. I changed the plugs on it a year or so ago with Champion RC10PYP4's and it ran great until about 6 months ago and this problem started.

2015 base soul idle vibrations. Has anybody experienced idle vibrations while sitting parked or at a stoplight. It's a very deep vibration throughout the cabin but as soon as I pick up the RPMs it goes away. Is this a common problem or does it have a good cheap fix? This is how the Kia engines idle.

Seems like a low idle but there is no way to manually adjust the idle on these cars. When the AC is off and the car is at idle, the dash guage shows 750 RPM but my scanner shows about 680.
