Apparently you need to call them now, any old method that used to work by us peon end users basically bricks the modem now, and bridge mode needs to be set by Comcast. For non static Comcast cable modem clients, use the DMZ setting in the modem and set it to a static private IP you've set on your pfsense box. It's NAT, but it should work for you.
