Sledgehammers, Katanas and Shovels can hit 3 zombies, Machetes, Club Hammers, and Pickaxes can hit 2 zombies. - All improvised weapons (like rolling pin, smashed bottle) had great damage buffs, making them viable weapons in an emergency. Multi hit was fine for build 40 and below (kinda), but with the combat variety added to build 41, it is quite simply an outdated mechanic. If it was added as a level 7 weapon skill for long weapons, axes, and spears I could accept this, but this is actually a very difficult skill to use in a combat situation.
