Kubota 50 hour service.

Since I used the 2 gallons of hydraulic fluid I recently bought can anyone tell me about how much hydraulic fluid I will lose when I replace the hydraulic filter so I can have it on hand. This is a gear drive not a HST.
Pinch off the line before the filter (tank side). Remove both of the spring clamps. Use a good slip joint plier. While you have your slip joint plier in hand, hold the fuel line where the clamp used to be. Twist the filter. Those items are engine oil, engine oil filter and HST filter. The Hydraulic filter shows replacement at 400 hrs. One word of caution, there are 2 places that you need to add fluid (UDT2) back for what was lost in the filter change. One is directly in front of the filters, under the dump bed. This is the tranny fill.
