That being said, I have a regular JRA M14 and I wouldn't trade it for one of the welded ones. I think the real M14 heal is cool for a collector, but as a shooter I like the solid, one piece forging of my receiver. I have no data on the welded M14 receivers, so they may prove to be just as reliable as mine. I just prefer to eliminate variables.Description: Attention collectors and shooters!!! I made a post on here a while ago about my James River Armory M14 not being able to extract spent brass due to how rough the chamber was. Well after sending it in and them "fixing" it it still can't get through a full mag, and now theres spent brass permanently stuck in the chamber.
