I shopped the rotor last night and 45 amp rotor is $154 more than the standard rotor. I still don't understand what caused the magnets to shift. The bike has 75K. You test each contact (2 on yours right?) individually from the stator to ground. You should get infinite resistance as if you were holding the 2 leads in the air. Than I labeled the plug and commenced pulling the wires from the plug. Two came out but one broke after 20 minutes of pulling and pushing on it.3.
