This happened to me about a month ago and I got through a whole season then it happened and at first I thought I got traded again then i realized oh no madden is just being madden. They haven't fixed it and probably won't cause it's on their faq and alot of people are having the issue. Once that was complete and I backed out to the menu within the "Face of the Franchise", it showed my players overall rank at 73 versus the 90 it was prior to me conducting the side activities. I have no skill points nor do I have the abilities I unlocked. My abilities were in the 99 club. And the system switched my player from a HB to QB.Face of the franchise contract glitch. It may actually be related to the player's name. We've seen some cases where the name is triggering some kind of filter, so it doesn't allow that player to be used. Just finished year 1 in face of the franchise and came across a pretty bad gameplay issue. If you don’t extend your contact with your team half way through your first season, you have to pick a contract from an NFL team at the end of the year during the resign period. The issue: when you try to select a contract at the end of year 1- you can’t.
