Pepper shaker is a support gun for boss creatures, need to make the sbq land or stop earl from running around, there is no better option. It is best utilized with a PA heavy gunner shotgunner hybrid build accompanied by strangler heart PA for the stacked acid damage and tenderiser for the 40% buff to shottys.

A QFFR or an AAFFR would be better on the Queen than the AAE. Queens are immune from explosion damage. And if you do use an E weapon on Earle, aim for the legs, otherwise you loose most of the E damage. Personally, I use a BFFR Gatling Plasma. The equivalent non-bloodied would be the AAFFR version. If Bethesda would just fix those legacies, which isn't difficult to do, then the pepper shaker wouldn't need to be nerfed like this. This is a band-aid solution and nothing more. A lot of people were looking forward to rolling explosive pepper shakers, some of whom also seemed thankful that this could change up the legacy meta a bit.
