I guess if you have the horn set to honk on lock or unlock with the remote it will honk when you use the remote start. I don't have the horn set to honk w/locking and it doesn't do it when I remote start it. The starter relay directs power from the battery to the starter solenoid which then engages the starter when you turn the key.
