The entire lounge situation at CLT kinda sucks - the Admirals Club is probably the worst in their entire network. There's the priority pass club CLT lounge which is pretty unimpressive but often a bit less packed, the only one that's worthwhile is the Amex lounge, and because Amex has been handing out platinum cards like candy over the last few years it's consistently full.
