On the other hand, the old hammer fired LC9 had a reputation for great reliability. I have one of the old ones with no failures.But the EC9s/LC9s trigger isn't really any lighter or have a shorter pull than my Glock 26 or 19. All have a safety built into the trigger, so as long as you carry in a quality holster and keep your finger off the trigger until you're ready to shoot, you're good to go.
