Most modern UniFi APs require 802.3af or 802.3at compliant PoE. This is 48 volt "active" PoE. As long as you stick with IEEE standard PoE adapters you should be fine. Watch for 1Gb PoE adapters as well. I think some might be limited to 100Mb. Watch out for Ubiquiti 24 volt passive PoE devices. In the next step we will create the directories, user accounts and set the permissions. - CTRL X to exit and save. smb.conf. One such example is UniFi's default 40 MHz channel width. Most consumer gears I believe comes in 80 MHz setting. This alone is already 2x throughput difference. However, UniFi AP users are more likely to have multiple APs, and therefore, they maybe at a risk of own interference when improperly deployed. So 40 MHz on 5 GHz radio reduce that risk ...

keshavdv. Using non-Unifi cameras in Unifi NVR. While we use a ton of Unifi hardware in our own security camera setup and love them, the lack of a PTZ hardware option from Ubiquiti inspired me to create a way to view standard RTSP streams in an existing Unifi NVR installation (not Protect) so I could live stream and record from a Hikvision device.
