About SLY PARK RECREATION AREA. Located 2.8 miles from park entrance. All sites have forest views, lake access is at Chimney Day Use area, 200 yards to lake. Trailer sites allow ONE TRAILER PER SITE. Your reservation fee pays for the first vehicle in the site only. There is a limit of 8 people per site (this includes children). We enjoy camping and recently tried Sly Park for a weekend. It was great! The lake was 70 degrees, the water was at 85% capacity and the weather was perfect. The camp sites have a fire pit, bbq and picnic bench. Community restrooms are clean and conveniently located all around the park.
