I disagree. The surgery shelf is also a medicine shelf. If you only studied pure surgery sources like Pestana it'd be hard to get a high percentile until you've already had family medicine or internal medicine rotations. Something like UWorld IM questions or Step Up would help a lot early on in 3rd year.

Once you finish all of the internal medicine questions, go back again but just do the marked questions. Divide however many questions you have by 21-24 days.
