It shows a packet loss of between 0% and 50% with 50% packet loss being rare. When I encounter problems the packet loss is usually 20% or higher.

Since it's currently the only thing connected to the HughesNet modem via ethernet cable it's easy to isolate by disabling wifi on the modem via your System Control Center (SCC). For your reference, once on the SCC, here's how to access your modem's wifi settings, starting on page 4.
