The Klamath River Basin The Klamath River Basin extends from the headwaters north of (and including part of) Crater Lake National Park in Oregon (OR) to its outflow at the Pacific Ocean in Requa, California (CA) (figure ES-1). It is divided into distinct upper and lower basins, each with very different climates, hydrologic regimes, and water needs.
