At 7 you get 46% energy back, and at 6 you get 42% back. Doubling up is therefore pretty worth it, but on a contraverse build I think OPs set up is the best. 4 charge from just 2 orbs with stacks on stacks, 42% from 2 kick-starts but you still get to make an orb on grenade kills. It's the best set up IMO.

You will very rarely see Nezarac's yet will often see CHol in Day 1 raids and GMs for example. Doesn't mean people don't us it and Nez is great. Slap a bunch of ordnance mods on to up your recharge on grenade and it still wrecks. The grenade is a OHKO at decent range and really tough to miss given the spread.

So the Contraverse hold change is pretty big nerf in my opinion - the 1,75 sec fixed grenade regen feels pretty bad. Before the patch, when I threw my grenade into pack of few mobs I almost always got full energy back in few seconds and now I get like half of my grenade back and I have to wait like 20 seconds (100 discipline is now 40 seconds CD, compared to 32 seconds before patch). You can also make wells twice because the vortex grenades duration is longer than the internal cooldown of the well mods.
