Ok I've heard several times over the last few alphas that each trader has their own specialty. But what I haven't heard with any degree of certainty is what each trader specializes in, and how that changes things. Jen for example supposedly has more medical supplies, but I really haven't noticed much difference between her stock and anybody else. Among the various things you can do with debug mode turned on is F6 to open the spawn menu. Simply click the button for Trader Joel (or trader whoever) Settings at the top: dynamic for temporary, static for permanent. "look at you" to have him face you when you spawn him.
