It depends on build you play. On meta builds its easy to get first few aug on 100+. On non-meta builds I use to aug 90, farm better items and then 120+. Depending on the build, sometimes an augment for vitality first and then later redone for mainstat. I only ever augment level 100 gems at minimum.
