John deere shuttle shift problems.
I have a new Gator 550. I am having difficulty shifting out of reverse. I have had the Gator service by the dealer under warranty twice. Both times they have returned it with the same problem. I have found that it will come out of reverse if you are still rolling backwards. However, this is not always possible.
Changed transmission fluid and new filter. Checked pressure for the trans pump (190) calls for a pressure between 175 and 225. Failure of brake retractors causes brakes to add tractor rolling resistance but not cause tractor to stop moving when trans is gear,clutch pedal raised up & engine running.
