You probably don't want to be in 6th gear until over 55mph its a semi useless gear. Also i don't see how break in would change your bikes rpms. After 80 miles the bikes computer should have fuel and such adjusted enough where break in would no longer have any affect on rpms. Also no there is no tach on these bikes.

They figured out they can get away with telling customers that consuming 1 quart of oil per 1-2000 miles is "normal." If you search, you'll find that line used by nearly every manufacturer these days.That said, the owners manual refers to taking it easy for the first 600 miles. No hard breaking, no launching, and don't keep a constant speed for multiple miles. However, many people have ignored that, as you have. It's a moot point if you are at 1000 miles so just enjoy your car. OP. OP.
