FedEx officially lost my Steam Deck. I was a part of the July 4th group, with the 512 GB model. Package was supposed to arrive Saturday the 9th, reached the delivery center 30 minutes from my house, and then nothing. Finally after 3 days of communication through Twitter FedEx Support, the told me they could not locate my SteamDeck.

Aug 2, 2022 · FedEx's shoddy delivery and poor oversight of packages in transit is inexcusable. Steam shouldn't have to eat the costs of FedEx incompetence. Fedex hires convicted felons, they say they don't but they do. I used to work for them. These steam decks can be sold for double their MSRP right now.
Today I just received my new Steam Deck via the RMA process. Be sure to communicate with the team via the support page. You should be ok because I was sent a brand new Steam Deck with a new cable. I truly think you'll be fine. On a side note Fedex is terrible. They delivered my deck to the wrong address.
