Burston prime is my favourite and most used weapon by quite a significant margin. It's effectiveness does fall off a bit if you want sheer damage, but i mod mine for status. Some of us do like our burst rifles. I also like procs. So as much as i also like tiberon, burston still wins for me. The real reason is that it's a lot easier to get large amounts of damage than it is multishot, or crit damage. The downside is meaningless for the burston incarnon, since incarnon forms don't get affected by ammo stats. I think Burston Prime is better because DPS and Burst dmg is better. Latron Prime is my favourite. I prefer weapons that favour accuracy and fewer shots over more shots and favour spamming. Whatever suits your play style, both are viable. The damage Burston can do in 2 seconds the Latron needs 3 seconds.
Just making a prime of it will not help. Burston needs a serious buff and no, burston is not a Grineer weapon. It fits in the neutral weapon category like Lato, Strun, Boar for example with no specific faction design imho. The lore is.. well.. either non-existant or contradictory so i make up my own mind about it.Latron, Strun, Torid, and Dual Toxocyst are some of the best IMO. Incarnon melees usually get a lot of flak and for good reason, but Ceramic Dagger, Dual Ichor, and Hate are pretty fun stuff. Anku is the worst one by a long shot.
