The Peeps are definitely an important part of the campus culture at Kenyon, and their non-Greek addition to an otherwise Greek social scene is very refreshing. Just wanted to respond quickly to those who have suggested that Kenyon is an "academic outlier" in this list. I strongly disagree. I have a senior at Kenyon who went there from a very strong, selective-admission high school for academically gifted students (a small school that has produced a few Nobel prize winners), and she finds Kenyon very rigorous.

Hello! I am a person where writing isn't my absolute strongest suit, but I found that Kenyon has already made me a much better writer! In all the classes I have taken, writing is definitely prevalent, but it's not overbearing or unmanageable in any way, shape, or form!
