Skyjacker SJSM9560. VIEW ON AMAZON. Like Rough Country, Skyjacker makes Hydro and Nitro shocks. Both series use different valving, but all shocks from the same series have the same valving. The differences are mainly with the fitment numbers, which isn’t much of an issue. Skyjacker’s top shock is the Mono-Tube Nitro shock.
Ever since it got put on ive had problems. The main ones being the shocks give a horrible stiff ride (I even got the "upgraded" Nitro shocks) and the other being the biggest problem and that's with the shock relocation bracket. I just recently found out its been the cause for both of my cv shaft boots ripping and my brakes going soft.Disregarding getting into digressive (Icon) vs Progressive (or linear as some call) (Fox), kits in that range including Ford Performance will be more than enough and leagues better than stock. Shock extensions will allow you to use your existing shocks, effectively making them 2" longer to accommodate the lift. If you order the shocks, they should be 2" longer than stock and the extensions would not be needed. I'm not familiar with those shocks, but I'm guessing they're not super high quality.
