Right side of vw touch screen not working.

My passenger's (right side) vent and the passenger's side of the center console's vent cluster will only blow cold air, even when heat is selected (to include the foot well and the windshield defroster). A bit of searching the forum and Google I decided the best option was to get the screen replaced. Found Andy from Huddersfield 07788 988178, also on eBay as sat-navs-uk. Make sure to replace the F16 fuse with a hard-coated fuse (not soft coated as the original). The hard-coated fuse leads heat better and dissipates to the surroundings as required. Went back to VW today for a diagnostics check and waiting for them to call me Monday with an answer (hopefully)

Same problem here but along the bottom. Ran the Sony calibration tool (you might want to Google and try that) but it didn't work. Restarting didn't fix it but a fresh install of the OS fixed it for a few days before it started acting up again. Got in touch with support who collected it and sent it back fixed.
