Take everything out of the glove box, and let it swing open to it's full open position. There are two little "stoppers" that stop the glovebox from swinging all of the way down (giving you access to what's behind the glovebox). YOu basically push up on the plastic above where the stoppers are so that the stoppers no longer "stop" the glovebox ...The front inner plastic wheel liners on the 2012 model were loose when I bought the car new.
