Eager Edge allows all 3 classes to perform "sword skating". I'm pretty sure a lot of people have already heard about the new 30th anniversary swords that came with a new signature perk called "Eager Edge". This Perk allows to to lunge quite the reasonable distance if you just pulled out your sword. If you ask me it was designed to be a homage ... Edit: If one more of yall comes in here with "uhm akshually you can skate with (insert super that gets used when skating, making it immediately useless as a skate tech)" I'm gonna lose my mind. Bubble skating isn't equivalent to Well skating as you need to wait several minutes between skates, because it uses the Bubble. Also make sure you are on a ledge or it won't work (there are certain things that you wouldn't really consider a ledge that still work, but just make sure it's an obvious ledge for the time being).

Yes, you go noticeably faster with enhanced eager. nope. I've heard it does nothing for actual shatterskating but it lunges you further with a regular light attack. Not sure if this is factual but in this case if you can do the flat ground skate which requires a light attack, might push further than non enhanced.

Four ways to skate with eager edge that I'm aware of: Basic skate, works on all classes. Jump, light attack, swap weapon immediately to preserve momentum. Doesn't go quite as far as the other methods, and expends ammo whether it succeeds or fails. Shatterskate, requires Stasis Hunter with Shatterdive equipped.
