Uplula is more universal while the Makershot is specific to the P365 mags but also much cheaper. Once you get them fully loaded, leave them like that until your next range trip. Even now, keep them loaded with as many as you can get in there. It will help a lot and it will get easier through use. By the way, the big mags hold 15rds, not 14.

OP, if you want a pistol that is thinner you need to look into the Ruger LC9s. It's also, IIRC, a tad lighter. And it's single-stack and 7+1. That includes boutique manufacturers with prices north of $3k. Then there is the actual percentage of units with “issues” to total units sold. I have two p365's and have had zero rust issues. On some warm days I have pulled my holster off my belt and found moisture on both the holster and the firearm. Buy a standard P365, and the SAS slide. This lets you try the sights without committing to the gun, should you not like them. As with Paul' above ^^^, it's a whole lot simpler to buy or sell the slide than a whole gun. BTW, the SAS slide has run fine on two P365s; SIG must hold tight tolerances. Moon.

It clocks at an honest 1100'sec, and has a similar recoil impulse/POI/velocity as my 115 reloads. The P365's felt recoil is less, the slide is much easier to rack, it's slightly smaller and lighter, has a better trigger than a stock Shield and it's more accurate in my hands at 7 yards. The P365 seemed like it was a good gun until I field stripped it and could not get the slide back on. I tried all the suggestions from Sig and the internet. The safety was down, I reset the recoil spring etc., but the slide would get stuck with about 1/2 " to go. I did not want to use a hammer so it went back to Sig. Came back reassembled.You could buy a P365 if you find one and then add a Manual Safety. BUT you still have to notch the grip or buy a MS Grip. Cost: $499.99 + MS $50.00 to $100.00 = $550.00 to $600.00. Get a lot of feelers out for the regular pricing or pay the higher price..

The P365X has the same grip frame as the XL, so yes. The 12 round extended mags from the standard P365 can work but you need to change out the magazine base pad. The 10 rounders won't work unless they are the restricted versions of the XL magazine.The Sig Sauer P365 is a semi-automatic striker-fired pistol that is similar in some ways to the larger P320 series. It's a different gun and parts aren't compatible with the Sig P320, but the influence is plain to see. Like the P320, the Sig P365 has a takedown lever to separate the slide and frame without pulling the trigger.For this reason on my P365, I swapped out my sig Xrays for trijicon HDs - so the sight alignment /picture and technique is the same across all of my pistols (glock, HK among a few others). Technically, you are not decreasing caliber, as both 9mm and .380 use the same diameter bullet. You are decreasing overall cartridge length, which equates to less velocity at the muzzle and less energy, as well as less recoil. A lot of people prefer the .380 due to ease of use racking the slide over a 9mm, as the springs are lighter.

Once the hammer is cocked after the first shot, the single-action weight is about 4.5 pounds. Your Ruger is right at 6 lbs.The new P365 looks very interesting. Just a tad bigger than the P938.
