What causes slipping in my John Deere 14SB walk behind self-pro. My John Deere 14SB walk behind self-propelled mower has started to act like the transmission is slipping. Every few hundred feet the mower stops moving for a second or two and then starts up again. I've tried adjusting the position of teh gear speed level but it has not helped.
