I believe this is a major safety issue and am encouraging people to make a complaint to the NHTSA (888) 327-4236 or (800) 424-9153 to have Honda find a permanent solution to the problem.

Add fresh fluid. reinstall cap. Now, have a box end wrench on the bleeder valve. Squeeeze the brake handle and loosen the bleeder. Oil should come out. Tighten the bleeder BEFORE you release the brake!!! Repeat this step a couple times. Then add fresh fluid to the reservoir. You are done.

The owners manual only says to use a minimum 86 octane.
