But I've tried over 10, none will emulate the amiibo. Not for this tag type at least. I'm a CS student with a decent knowledge of java and data structures.

From what I've found is you can spoof a scan if there's a scanner connected otherwise it won't do anything. So I think you'd have to trick the system into thinking there's a reader connected, then spoof it.
