i had a similar experience, but no bleeding, just a lot of left side pain. I thought i was 6 wks and on the ultrasound there was just the gs and ys, and measuring 5 wks. a week later had another ultrasound and there was a full heartbeat at 122 bpm dating 6 wks and 5 days. And this was thru an abdominal ultrasound. Never had a vaginal one.
