After changing 'maintain aspect ratio' to 'maintain scaling', I still had problems with some selected 'old' applications. So unless anyone else here has any suggestions or a solution of some kind, I am returning this computer. For a $1400 computer for me it is a deal breaker having fuzzy, pixelated text/fonts.
