Tonight, my fiance had it out and it wouldnt start at the grocery store. I ended up leaving work, driving 45 min. and got it started in 5 minutes. I have a 2000 Ford Taurus, it cranks but no start. Problem is intermittent though, one day it won't start, the next day it will and act as though it never happened. Problem started after an oil leak from the oil filter, took it in and got it serviced, full oil change new filters, and supposedly they cleaned up the mess it made. Leak is fixed. This has been an on going problem. I have replaced fuel pump, starter, ccrm 3 times, fuel relay, engine coil. At first it would run fine sometime and not at all others, or shut off and not crank back for a while. If it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you check for spark at the plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure and fuel injector pulse.not sure on the injectors, has spark, not sure where to check fuel pressure and the theft light is not flashing, will run off starting fluid.
