Slemco has annoounced that they will be forced to cut the power in a section of Youngsville at 2 am on August 9, 2023. Two large fuses have to be replaced after they melted and this is going to require that a certain power grid be cut off. The area affected by this power outage will be the Sugar Mill Pond neighborhood.
