If we're looking at a Calibration sheet (from the Help.Cricut page), my Cricut starts scanning in the upper margin well above the sensor line, towards the left side of the page. It continues trying to scan to the left, then scans down slightly, and then heads back towards the right. Basically making a small rectangle on the top left of the page.
