I own a 2009 drz400sm, stock carb/ dj jet kit, stock cams, full yoshi rs-2, K&N with 3x3 mod. Ive been needing a ring job so I've opted for a cylinder works 434 big bore kit. Lectron uses a special metering rod system that automatically adjusts for elevation and temperature change. Lectron carbs will out perform anything else on the market while getting better fuel economy, making more power, and never having to rejet. Includes: Lectron Carb with Gen II idle circuit. The lectron was a good carb very very good response but I had idle issuses with it. My MX FCR was also easy to tune but that was using a dyno to help. throttle response was about the same really. The petcock is normally left to "on" or "res" during normal operation. The stock petcock is automatic.
