Getting enough defense for your tricarus is not hard with guard sets and defense artifacts. Having a super high damage Verd to shorten run times is harder. However tricaru is consistent. The speed dot teams are hard to rune for 100% reliability. You'll need a super strong lushen and a +180 speed mellia. Plus the dot team itself is not farmable.

All units take benefit from this particular rune set. For example, if you rune your 3x Icaru on 3x Guard, each will receive +45% def bonus; however having 6 Determination sets will yield +48% across all your team. My first Tricaru was mainly from Ice Rift Beast. Farmed that for a couple days just to get slot 1, 2, 4 and 6 six-star determination defense runes. Like you said, even martina team with g3 rune, who is the second best team after tricaru for DB12, is not 100%. Personnally I'm a c1 player (lul) and I now have a 100% 55sec DB12 team, with rune who where ALL in my inventory.
