Nissan xterra vdc off slip reset.

I've purchased a 2005 xterra, GREAT vehicle. Since I've had it [purchased 12/2005] the 'VDC oFF' & 'SLIP' indicator lights have came ON and stayed ON until Reset by procedure in manual. Took it to the dealer, they 'reset' the code/module. Not even a week later, the lights are back on. It's a bit annoying - not even 2000 miles on it yet.Nissan Mechanic: Mechanic01. I have an aftermarket Remote Start and Alarm installed and Warrantied by Nissan of Queens but they can't seem to figure out the problem but say its because my Brake Pads are low.

I'd check all the connectors from the FR (front right) wheel speed sensor back to where they end.Disconnect the negative battery cable. Put the original Brake switch back in. Then after 15 mins of the negative battery being left off, then connect and see if that clears it up. Ask Your Own Nissan Question. After taking the clock spring out a few times and studying the issue, I noticed that the steering wheel/the alignment was off-center. If you read about the VDC, you will find that it is integral to the angle sensor. After much research and thought, I decided to ask the dealer to align (front toe) the Armada and then reset the VDC/Slip light.But the ABLS still kicks in with the VDC off and can be way too sensitive. You get the same SLIP light and braking. It applies the brake to a spinning tire in order to arrest a slide on a slick surface, such as wet concrete or ice. It's not supposed to be used off-road.
