The jeep isn't running hot at all. The temp needle never gets past half or even up to half way. When I start the jeep the fan is not on.

A built in timer/relay causes the system to go Closed Loop after a few minutes of the engine running. Closed Loop just means that the O2 sensors are being monitored as an additional input to the fuel management system. Fault Codes about coolant temps & Closed Loop - dont mean that a specific temp is required to go Closed Loop ...2013 jk running hot above 3000 rpm. I can’t find any leaks in the system. It indicates the engine is not reaching operating temperature. From what I can find the 3.6L V-6 takes a 203 degree thermostat.
