Jul 10, 2007 · To me, a loader on an 8n in 2007 is a bad idea because it destroys this tractor's near perfect weight distribution, and kills it's advantages of compact size and light weight. The box on the front is a counterweight. It is full of concrete with some additional iron thrown on top of that. The front tires even had the wheel weights. I had hoped I could put it on my Ford 640 at the farm (with a front end loader) and leave the 8n here at the house to do little things. But I don't think that will work. He wants $2,800 for it.
