I mained saw spear with a semi-quality skill build (25 str, 50 skill) Rifle spear, rieterpallasch, saw spear, ludwigs and chikage are all easily available by level 50-60. 1st is a Quality Build which I used LHS and Burial Blade the majority. 2nd is a Chikage Bloodtinge/Skill build. 3rd is a STR/ARC build with Logarius Wheel and Holy Moonlight Sword. It fits both perfectly and the difference in damage between 50 skill and 25str/25skill builds is very small. Ill see your burial blade and raise you my saw spear quality build, sir!

The cane is one of my favorite weapons and one of the best skill weapons in the game. How I start every build is get my Vit and End to around 20 before I start putting points into the other stats. Once at 20 put some in skill to start getting some damage from the cane. Then put points into whatever you think will help you at the time.
